Sorry for the totally lame title on this post but that’s all I really had! Sorry there hasn’t been any updates for over 2 months I don’t really have an excuse so I am not even going to make one up. Why bother lying? I have made about the same income and have put in next to no effort on any of my sites. One thing that has kind of bugged me lately has been my lack of effort.

The year is half finished where did it go? Seems like yesterday I was writing some goals or something? I am looking at those goals and realizing I have only done a few of those things. Where did I go wrong? I think it was going to blogs and reading them and seeing what everyone else was doing. More specifically seeing how much they were making and they seemed to make it look really easy.

Its not easy everyone has to put alot of time into there sites its not something where you can just spend 5 minutes a  week. … my hand just feel asleep ahh! I thought I would say that my desk is a complete disaster and I should probably clean it off.

When I do log onto the computer these days I find myself wasting time by either checking my emails talking to friends on instant messengers, reading blogs/rss feeds and other sports websites.

I started this post a while ago and totally forgot where I was going with it so I am just going to publish it.

At the end of the month I am going to part ways with 2 advertisers. It simpley isnt working out anymore because while I have had there links on my site my page rank and alexa rank have gone down. I decided to drop these two and work on getting my page rank and alexia rank back up.

Why have my ranks gone down?

I believe they have gone down because they are not related to my site and google does not like that. A few other things may be causing it but most of the links on my page I am going to change to no follow and that should help improve my sites rating. I had something like 673 outbound links I am going to try to trim it down to 100 or less and we will see how that goes. I will also be adding the no follow button and we will see if that helps.

Do you have any ideas why this may have happend? Other then the above things I cant really think of much as traffic is up 25%

While I will be losing those two if I get my rankings up in the next month or two I will be way ahead in the first place. I need to start doing something if I plan on making any money online it all stars with hard work. Which includes developing my domains. I am currently trying to get a site half fast up every 2 weeks. So far I am on a good pace but only have 4 sites up in total. Hopefully I can develop at least 20 more domains by the end of the year!

Its that time of the month again. Yes the time I write about my monthly income. First I would like to touch on the the last post about where does the time go? Its been 7 days since my last post and feels like 24 hours?

Anyways time to get onto the good stuff. Well once again I didnt put much more then a few hours into my sites last month and because I did my revenue went up almost the same it did  by last month $12.50. I am now sitting at $52.50 for last month. Hopefully I can double that amount during april. I would really like to be in the xxx range per month but I understand it takes time to get there!

I really am going to try to write more often, its hard sometimes you just lose track of time and then bam its like 15 days since you last posted.  Its kind of funny how that happens.

Well the main purpose of this post is to let you know that wordpress 2.5 is out and I have officially upgraded my blog to it. I am loving the admin panel it looks way better and its way easier to navigate. If you have never used wordpress because the admin panel was to hard to use or if you havent seen the new one I suggest to upgrade to check it out!

I am going to be tweaking the blog in the next few days. I am on the look for some new plugins so if you have any in you would want on the site or have some you would like to suggest please drop me a line.

Some of you may be wondering what my gtalk status is all about it says 2/24 feel free to leave a comment if you think you know what it means. If you want to know check back in the next few days and I will reveal it!

It has been a pretty long time since I have given a house update, I am going to try and give an update on a few projects that I am working on around the house. I haven’t really given a update on projects that are going on in my house or yard in a long time. Its pretty much since I said I put a fence up which was back in the spring of last year.

House update - Renovating the basement

Our basement was mostly gutted when we purchased our home last year and I have decided to gut it completely and pretty much start over. This includes tearing down walls, removing old wiring, getting rid of the old furnace and giving the water heater back to the water heater rental company. I have since installed a new high efficient furnace as well as a high efficient water heater. Which have reduced the bills alot and they are much better for the environment.

After those to major purchases were complete I have since re-framed the whole basement, did some wiring and put some lights up. I also put the insulation up which is taking some time as I am putting to layers up (It gets cold here alright!).

 After I get the insulation up I plan on putting some vapor barrier up and start drywalling but that wont be for a month or so as there are tons of little jobs to do.

 Thats about all i have to update at this point sorry if this bores you!

I am able to report that in February I earned $40.55, its a step up from last month and the following month is looking promising as well. I havent been working to hard but hard enough to make $12.00 more then last month. A lot of things have been going on and I am glad to report a steep spike in traffic to one of my sites so I need to work on making more money off it.

My Goal for March is to make at least $100 online. Its the same goal as february but realistiacly I cant not make it any higher until I break it! I plan on spending at least 45 minutes a day working on my own sites to improve them so I can make more money off them.

 I look forward to reporting my totals around the same time next month. You might be wondering why it takes so long to report but some sites have wierd payout periods. Hopefully I can get some nice income made in the near future so you will be surprised by the next update.

I decided it was time to do another batch of updates to the blog. I only used the last layout for a holder until I found something better to use. I decieded to get a new theme up based on several emails stating the old one was pretty boring. I could not argue the fact that it wasnt boring but it was pretty basic and was just set up so I could start posting.

As you can probably tell I even stopped posting after a while. Blogging is not as easy as it seems and latlely I have had limited time to be online. I am not going to lie I hoped  to be making at least 300-400 a month online by now but things do not happen if you do not work at them. I cant say I put more then 2-3 hours of work into making money online in the last month. However next week when my February earnings report comes out it should be more then the previous month which is a step in the right direction.

With that being said I would like to take a moment and discuss what I have planned for the future of this blog. I hope to start posting at least every other day with some sort of update as to what I am working on and what I am trying to improve etc. I feel by keeping a detailed log it will help me try to make it better then the day before the week before and the month before etc. Its not going to be easy but if I spend at least 30 minutes to a hour working on a project or two a day I think it can make a difference                     

There will be several edits to the blog in the next few days I plan on moving somethings around and adding a few new things that havent been seen on trusttec.net before! So make sure you check back sunday to see what is up!

It seems just like yesterday I wrote my last post, however looking at it I realize it has been over 12 days? where has the time gone? I havent accomplished to much in the past 12 days. I did a little bit of traveling but other then that it was mostly work. I havent had to much time for my websites but I have started a few new ones. I need to start completing them one by one. I have been waiting for a layout for one of them but it should be completed soon and I can complete it.

 I am also planning on redoing TopsitesPlus the layout is kind of tacky and I am looking for something a little more basic so hopefully I can re-do the site in a few weeks. I am pretty happy with the stats, having generated 1,177,139 page views so far to date. Its that time of the month to break down my website earnings again where do the months seem to go? Last month was my first month releasing my website earnings. I am sad to report that after earning 116.10 in December, I only earned $28.00.

I have learned that it is a lot of work to make money online you cant just sit back and expect it to happen. I thought I would be able to make as much as I did in December but I didn’t even do any work. Sure I made a few blog posts here and there but that was about it.

 A good thing is that my blog is ranked at a PR 3 if it gets higher I can start making my from it. I am also waiting for a skin to be completed on my other blog and I will start posting on it however it seems that the coder is missing in action. Hopefully he will show up soon!

 I think I am well on my way to beating my January total of $28.00 but I need to put in more effort in the month of February to try and make at least $100 online from my websites. Its going to be a lot of hard work but I feel I am up for the challenge. If you have any suggestions or comments feel free to post them!

First thing first I would like to apologize I have been really busy and haven’t had very much time to post as of late. I had big hopes for this month and hoped to beat my total for making money online from last month however I don’t know If am going to do it. I am not even close and there is only 2 more days left.

Why do I think I am not going to make it? For starters I have not put the effort into it that I did last month. I am not saying I put in 110% last month but I probably only put in 10% this month I started off fairly good for the first 10 days or so and then I found my self being online less and less.

I have a few posts saved up in the queue that need to be finished and I will try to post them asap. So far I think I tripled my posting form the last few months and I have only made 6 posts so far this month (including this one). At least its something to build towards. Next Month I want to post more than this month I am thinking I will get one more article out before the end of the month and then that may be it for this month so my total to beat will be around 7.

What have I been doing? Basically work around the house its been to cold to go outside literally its been -53 with the windchill the last few days and tomorrow is supposed to be colder. When I get home from work I don’t plan on going outside until the next day that’s for sure!

Today I applied for a job with a website company hopefully they will be able to give me a few jobs every month and that will help me raise my total online money by a lot. We will see how it works out I just sent off the resume a few minutes ago. I am pretty excited about this new opportunity and I hope to follow up within a few days to let you all know how it worked out!

 Gotta catch some sleep before work tomorrow catchya later.
